Sniper-One Shot Brotherhood

Sniper-One Shot Brotherhood

  • The authors: Lt. Col. N. A. Chandler, U.S.M.C. (retired), was an active duty Marine for twenty-four years.
  • He has been both a Rifle and a Weapons Company Commander.
  • Roy F. Chandler, MSgt. U.S. Army (retired) was an active duty soldier for twenty years.
  • A veteran of WWII and Korea, he operated a sniper school, and during the 1950s he was a test NCO at the arctic Test Board in Alaska.
  • The One Shot Brotherhood is a huge hard cover brick filled with sniper tales and legends. The book is collection of stories and articles by different authors covering subjects from weapon selection to real life war stories.
  • Apparently allot of the stuff is originally from the Death from Afar series of books by the Chandlers.
  • Parts that are written by the Chandlers are refreshing read. These men have firm opinions and are certainly not afraid to express them.
  • A lot of the book is, rightfully so, devoted to men "meaningful to the sniper community - The Brotherhood" and their stories and pictures. Both law enforcement and military sniping are covered. These stories are spiced up with rare pictures many form the heroe's personal archives.
